I've heard love songs old and new
Some lines apply to me and you
Only partly relatable
Love stories very beautiful
Sometimes I wish that I could find
A song that speaks what's on my mind
He's still writing our love song, Love
He is still writing our love song
Sights to see, and places to go
Words of love to speak soft and low
Parts of our lives, yet to be told
Unborn children to love and mould
Exciting things, romantic, too
Things I can't wait to do with you
But He still writes our love song, Love
He is still writing our love song
Sometimes I think and wonder why
It's been given to wait and sigh
But there is joy in every day
To wait is not such a bad way
Appreciate what's coming soon
Sighs given in love form a tune
He's not done with our love song, Love
He is still writing our love song
It will not always be roses
Our smiles may sometimes be poses
The melody may become rough
Days ahead will seem very tough
Incandescence may fade for days
And joy may not bring forth it's plays
But oh, He's writing our song, Love
He is still writing our love song

Thank you so much!
Thank you so much! Incandescence is actually the word I used multiple times a day when I was trying to explain to Arthur how happy I was during our courtship. Also because the comment I get most often is "You're glowing!" :) so it has a bit of a special meaning.
Thank you again! God bless you, dear.

I'm loving all this
I'm loving all this inspiration you've had! This is another lovely piece. I will say, I really enjoyed your use of "mould"--after reading the previous line, I was expecting "love and hold", so I was pleasantly surprised. Again, I can feel your excitement buzzing in these words! Have you guys picked a month yet for your wedding? Of course you don't have to say--I was just wondering if it's close!
Thank you so much! Yes, we
Thank you so much!
Yes, we just decided on December 23rd. :) it's kinda cool because that is my maternal grandparents wedding date (it'll be their 65th wedding anniversary), and I am wearing my maternal grandmother's wedding dress. :) pretty special right there. :)
Some days December feels really far off but honestly time has been just flying by so I'm sure it won't be difficult to wait. :)

How Exciting!
Oh Damari! That sounds so exciting! It has been a dream of mine to have a Christmas-time wedding someday, but most of my family is against it for logistical and logical reasons. I still want it though! Hopefully someday when I meet and marry my man, he'll back me up on that Christmas wedding idea ;)
I am still so excited and happy for you! Blessings!

Oh Damari!
Damari! This is sooo beautiful! The poem's rhythm is so lovely and it flows so well!
The melody may become rough;
Days ahead will seem very tough.
Incandescence may fade for days,
And joy may not bring forth it's plays;
Those are some of my favorite lines! Words like incandescence really gives you a specific meaning and this poem a wonderful feel. Great job (as usual!)
Blessings to you!
