Diary of a Faerie Queen June 13th

Ah, yes. This shall be the introduction of myself and my family I suppose.
My name is Queen Jaili Taewei Traenionea, daughter of King Brachei Normwia Traenionea IV. I live in the city of Belrau which is located in the heart of the faerie kingdom of Jewali. I am in my last year of scholarly lessons. My father says I should be a well rounded Queen, so I must be diligent in my studies. I have no siblings. This means that the members of my fathers High Council must find ways to entertain me, as though I am a child.
My mother died when I was born and my father has not found the heart to search for a new wife.
I am ashamed to say it but...I am happy about that. This way father has more time to spend with me than with a new wife.

My daily activities now include, looking for a husband, accepting gifts from all of my people, and looking like a Queen.
Doesn't that sound horrid! I sound so selfish and awful. I resolve from this very moment that this shall no longer be a Record, but shall instead be a Journal. Then people will really know how I feel about things. And I won't just be writing what my father wants to read.
In fact, I shall begin right now.

Friday. June 13th, year of Queen Jaili's reign,

Today contained some unusual occurrences.
My father called me into his chambers and announced that I shall begin my magic studies. This came as a surprise since, normally the youth don't begin their magic study until their 20th year. My father says that I am special since I am Queen. I think it has to do with my wings though, for I know quite well he didn't begin his magic the first year of his kingship. My wings are silver with rainbow colored strands, weaving in and out, shimmering every time I am in the sun.
My grandmother said once that there had only ever been one other faerie with wings like mine,
Jameitheil Twearn, her Ladyship of Battle.

She was the fiercest warlord in existence ten centuries ago. She had a heart of stone and was as beautiful as a field of wildflowers. She lead the Faerie army in the great war against the humans, and our people fought to conquer. The final battle was nearing an end when all fell silent. Jameitheil had been killed by one of her own. Maitheil, was Jameitheils favorite soldier, what she didn't know was that he was also a deceiver. He worked with the humans, for a small fortune, to find a way to defeat the faerie army. With one magic spell Jameitheil fell, and the whole faerie army was laid to waste.

My father was in his 18th year of reign when this happened and he decided, for the benefit of all the faeries, that our people should go into hiding for risk of further destruction.
Our wisest, most respected wizard was summoned to shrink the faeries to the size of a bee in order for us to make our homes in the forests and flowers. There we could be safe from all humans.

Ah, my sunlight fades and I have no other way to make light. I shall continue my Journal tomorrow.

Hey how come you never finished this? You should! It's good, and I like Jaili and Jameitheil sounds cool. So, does this mean she's going to be a warrior? I know you haven't been on here for a long time, but you need to post more!!!
