Jesus

Jesus in the sun that rises
bright and glorious, pink horizons
Jesus in the birds that fly
soaring, floating, passing by
Jesus in the crashing waves
white and foaming, ocean spray
Jesus in the open fields
touching heaven, green and real
Jesus in the summer night
cool and damp in pale moonlight
Jesus in the trees that blow
whispering softly all they know
Jesus in the great blue sky
passing clouds, and wondering why
Jesus in the mother's sorrow
waiting, hoping for tomorrow
Jesus in the young man's soul
making choices, setting goals
Jesus in the young girl's eyes
holding all the tears she cries
Jesus in the child's face
smiling, laughing, full of grace
Jesus in the broken heart
bleeding, hurting for a new start
Jesus in the offering
hands that hold through suffering
Jesus in the lonely soul
tragedy echoing, taking its toll
Jesus in the questioning
all unknown and overtaking
Jesus in the anxious sigh
waiting for a Savior tonight
Jesus in the breaking of bread
so all his children might be fed.

This might just be a first installment of more to come. However, that has yet to be determined. :P

This is really beautiful, Brianna. I love it.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." -Bilbo Baggins [The Lord of the Rings]

That's very nice and flowing. It has a lot of ideas packed into it, too.

If you want to improve on it, I think there are a couple lines that break up the motion a bit. :)

...yes, I think I know which ones you're talking about. Let me know...

"We have been created for greater things. Why stoop down to things that will spoil the beauty of our hearts?" ~Mother Theresa

Very nice rhythm-extremely pretty!

"If life gives you lemons, throw them back!" -Joe Jonas (I think, or it might be another one of the AWESOME Jonas Brothers)
