So, yesterday I was cleaning up the living room, and thinking about the above song, when I got the idea to write the Ballad of Frodo Baggins. So, here it is, to the same tune as the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins.***
THE BALLAD OF FRODO BAGGINS
In the middle of the Earth
In the land of the Shire
Lives a brave little Hobbit
Whom we all admire
With his faithful Servant
And his dad, Hamfast.
He lives in a Hobbit Hole
And ev'rybody knows him
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins
Only three feet tall
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins,
Bravest little Hobbit of 'em all.
Now Hobbits are peace lovin' folks
Ya' know, they're never in a hurry
And they take things slow;
But one day Frodo
Was asked to go
On a great adventure to a volcano
To destroy a Ring made
By Dark Sauron
That was lost from him
In the days long gone
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins
Only three feet tall
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins,
Bravest little Hobbit of 'em all.
Well he fought with a Nazgul
He battled a troll.
He tried to kill Gollum
By strangling him.
He was chased by Wraiths,
Lost in the Forest,
Escaped from the Orcs
With his servants help
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins
Only three feet tall
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins,
Bravest little Hobbit of 'em all.
Now he's back in his home
In the land of the Shire,
That brave little Hobbit
Whom we all admire
Just about to leave with
Gandalf to Valinor
And he'll never come back
To the Shire no more.
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins
Only three feet tall
Frodo, Frodo, Frodo Baggins,
Bravest little Hobbit of 'em all
