O Frabjous Day!

HATTER: On the Frabjous day, when the White Queen again wears the crown—on that day, I shall Futterwacken—vvvigorously.

HATTER: O Frabjous day! Calloo, callay! [
begins to dance]
ALICE: What is he doing?
CHESHIRE: Futterwacken.
-Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland

(apricotpie restoration celebration)
O Frabjous Day! Calloo, callay!
The beast is slain;
Our grove will stay!
O Frabjous Day! Calloo, callay!

O Frabjous Day!—Have you yet heard?
The attack of the beast THE-END occurred;
We ducked and took shelter, all crying and skerd,
Losing hope that the Frabjous would ever emerge.

O Frabjous Day! It came with the Knight,
James who would not accept the beast’s blight.
His pen (which dwarfs the sword with its might)
He drew to fight back on the pre-Frabjous night.

O Frabjous Day! Our good Wizard Ben,
Thought he laid down his staff at the beast’s gaping den,
Passed it back to James at the leap of THE-END
For sweet Frabjous sunlight and the Futterwacken.

O Frabjous Day! Sing of our hero, you lot!
Remember the grove—Could you have forgot?
And support our old cause, a battle well-fought.
O Frabjous Day! Joy! We have gained what we sought!

(And to think it happened today, on my third anniversary or joining! Oh, I am going to cry.)
