Hi. My name is Andrea, as you can see. I just learned about this site from one of my brother's Potter's School teachers. I checked it out and decided that it would be much better than livejournal, myspace, xanga, etc. So here I am.

I thought you might like to know a little bit about me before I just start posting things, so here goes. I am 17 years old. I have been homeschooled *almost* all of my scholastic days, along with my only sibling, Eric (age 15). I live with my family on a small hobby farm in Michigan. We have several miniature cows, countless chickens, a few barn cats, and three horses. I'd like it to be two horses though. Know anyone who wants a thoroughbred gelding? We also have a small vegetable garden (except that we forgot to plant it this year), six heirloom apple trees (which produced a grand total of two apples each this year), and we rent about twenty acres out to farmers for growing hay, beans, corn, wheat, or whatever they want. My dad does have a real job, in case you were wondering how we afford this utopia. :)

I won't bore you with "my favorite" lists. Just know that I love horses. I know that sounds cheesy, but I'm serious. I intend to go to college to learn how to opperate a breeding/training farm.

Also, one of my favorite things to do on a rainy afternoon (or any afternoon) is curl up with a good book. Yes, like virtually all teenagers in this day and age I like movies too, but there's just something special about a book.

And last but certainly not least, I am a born-again Christian. I can't be as active in my church as I would like, because we drive kind of a long way to get there every week, but I make sure to study God's word on my own, so that helps.

One subject I am increadibly interested in is appologetics. I know that belief in the Bible is an act of faith. We don't believe it because it's believable, we believe it because we believe it. But it is believable. And I find it fascinating how the marvels of Creation point to God. I could go on about this for a long time, but I'm getting off the subject. :)

So, that is essentially me in a nutshell.
