All I wanted was a fairytale
A prince
A happily ever after
I wanted a time and place where it all made sense
Where all women are beautiful
A time when men cared about women
A place where there were true friends
I wanted a peace unimaginable
A way to go off with my friends
A chance to be alone
I wanted every terror to end
Every hero to win
I wanted to be held and loved
I wanted to be happy
I wanted to belong
I wanted to be special
A fairytale
A prince
A real love
A true happiness
A sincere friend
A happily ever after
*sniff*
How sweet and how true! I wish Faerie were real too. Humph. We can only write about it... but, as good ol' L.M.M. said: "The world calls them its singers and poets and artists and storytellers; but they are just people who have never forgotten the way to fairyland."
