Imagine the earth.

Imagine looking out over the horizon. Imagine trees and birds. Imagine laughing rivers, massive oceans and expansive skies.

Now, imagine it all gone.

Imagine a dead world, where rock and dust replace the once lush plains of the world we used to call home. Imagine a planet scorched by the flames of a red sun. Everything is cold.

Imagine a ship. Imagine a boat that travels through the sky. Imagine this airship resting on the dark deserts where once stood a thriving city.
Imagine two men sitting on the side of the airship, looking out over the cold, dry earth; the envelope resting behind the ship.

One of the men stands up and walks inside the cabin.

The other man remains sitting, staring out at the only splash of colour in the barren landscape; a massive sunset, searing the sky a deep crimson.

As the airship lifts off the ground, the second man stands up, sighs, and walks inside.

I really enjoyed reading this. The whole flow was great, and I loved the whole "imagine this" thing. And the way you ended this makes the reader just wonder off into their own train of thought. At least me anyway. Nice to see you post!

I'm with Maddi. Also, I think if you could pull off filming it, that's be awesome.
