Chapter 2

As night fell, Kalen walked over to the tree he had seen earlier. Finding that this was as good a place as any to stay the night, he sat down.

And immediately stood up again, what a dumb place to put a... what was that? The Thing was a locket of sorts; a hand sized locket.

It had spikes around the edge, which made it as difficult to sit on as it was to open. But having done so, Kalen looked inside, it had a name carved on it: Alegis Etus Ordinius.

It sounded as strange as his own name. Pulling out the picture he had painted earlier, Kalen thought "this locket is probably the dragon's".

Yes, the locket was on the dragon in the picture.

Alegis Etus Ordinius, Draconic protector of the Wall.

"Cool"

Kalen looked up, startled. The voice hadn't come from him.

"Nope" said one of the two boys staring at him. "It came from me"

With the deja vu starting up again, Kalen realized the boy was talking to his thoughts.

Alegis stirred in his sleep; things out there were moving.

The dragon was dreaming of his Wall, in his dream there were people standing on his Wall. Not allowed.

There were four boys talking to each other, Alegis couldn't hear them, but he could see them; two of the boys looked identical, the other two looked to be about the same age, maybe fifteen. The thing that stood out to the dragon was their eyes: one of the twins had bright blue eyes; the other had bright green. The strong boy had dark gray eyes, and the last one had one blue eye and one white.

Chapter 3

"My name is Nonomen Gemini, and that's Nonunc Nonumquam Gemini" the blue-eyed one said. "You can call me Nomen and him Nunk. Or Jack."

"Jack if you please, nice to meet you." said the green eyed boy.

"What's your name?"

"I'm Kalen"

"Got a last name?"

"Not exactly"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I don't really have a last name, but I call myself Kalen of Aahrenwold"

"Hmmm, well, whatever works"

Nomen turned away as if to go, then turned back and said, "Have you met Alegis?" Kalen blinked "no, but I found his locket thing"

Jack shrugged "oh, the amulet. We’ll give it to him" Kalen handed the spiky object to the boy "here you go"

"Oh" said Nomen "one more thing. Don't touch the Wall"

The twins turned, ran down the hill and quickly disappeared in the darkness.

Alegis Etus Ordinius rolled over in his sleep; things were probably fine out there.

After all, what harm could they do?

Lazy ol' dragon :) But I like this. Just one thing: it's kind of hard to distinguish between them just by the color of their eyes. Maybe you should introduce the other three boys one at a time so we can get to know them better.
